Richard Jones P.e.

Richard Jones, P.E. has extensive experience in the field of engineering. Richard currently holds the position of Director of Energy Engineering at NORESCO, a role they assumed in March 2020. Prior to this, Richard worked at Honeywell for 15 years, where they held various roles including Senior Business Development Consultant, National Solutions Development Leader, and Solution Development Leader. At Honeywell, they were responsible for overseeing the development of solutions for customer facilities and systems, as well as expanding the capabilities of the business unit focused on energy conservation, revenue improvements, and operating cost reductions. Before joining Honeywell, Richard worked at Southern Company as a Senior Project Development Engineer and at Newcomb & Boyd as a Senior Project Engineer.

Richard Jones, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus in Energy from the University of Colorado Boulder. Richard attended from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Florida State University from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued International Business studies.

In addition to their education, Richard Jones holds several certifications including the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers, the LEED Accredited Professional from USGBC, and the Professional Engineer (PE) from the State of Georgia.
