Ben Hogston

Ben Hogston is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in primary care management. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Norfolk Primary Care since April 2024, Ben has previously held significant roles including Associate Director of Primary Care Development at NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board from August 2019 to April 2024, and Deputy Director of Primary Care at NHS West Norfolk and Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning groups from July 2018 to August 2019. Additional positions include Head of Transformation at General Practice Alliance, Programme Manager at NHS Norwich clinical commissioning group, and Project Manager at NHS Norfolk. Ben began a career in healthcare commissioning as a Commissioning Manager at Suffolk PCT. Prior to entering the healthcare sector, Ben worked in the rail industry as Site Person in Charge at GM Rail Services Limited. Educational background includes attendance at The Royal Hospital School, Holbrook, and The Royal Flight School in Oman.
