Colonel: Chief Deputy at Norfolk Sheriff's Office

Michael O'Toole is currently serving as the Colonel and Chief Deputy at the Norfolk Sheriff's Office since January 2019. Prior to this role, michael held the position of Chief of Staff at the same company since July 1986. In addition to their extensive experience in law enforcement, michael has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at both Old Dominion University and Tidewater Community College. O'Toole holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminology and a Master of Arts in Criminology, both from Old Dominion University.
