Scott Michael Goodspeed

Scott Michael Goodspeed is a seasoned professional in labor relations with extensive experience at Norfolk Southern Corporation as Director of Labor Relations since January 2008, where responsibilities include developing negotiating strategies for collective bargaining agreements and participating in national wage and healthcare strategy discussions. Previously, Goodspeed served as Assistant Director of Labor Relations at Norfolk Southern, providing vital research support and evaluating grievance claims. Additional experience includes roles as Adjunct Professor of Constitutional Law at Mohawk Valley Community College, Associate Counsel for the New York State Public Employees Federation, and Associate Attorney at Girvin & Ferlazzo, P.C., focusing on labor law and employee relations. Scott holds a Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and a BA in Philosophy and History from New York University, along with completion of an Executive Development Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
