James W. Dyke

James W. Dyke is a board member at Norfolk State University. James has also held positions at Step Up Tutoring, the College of Arts & Letters at Old Dominion University, and ABSOLUTE INDIA. At Step Up Tutoring, they served as Communications and PR Intern from July 2021 to August 2022. At the College of Arts & Letters, they were a Graduate Administrative Assistant from May 2020 to August 2020, where they worked with the MFA Program Director to research and gather information to increase MFA program applications. James also researched and curated innovative and cost-effective ways to advertise ODU MFA program. Additionally, they maintained electronic records and developed best practice strategies using social media advertisement and engagement to attract international students. At Old Dominion University, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2018 to May 2021. Lastly, at ABSOLUTE INDIA, they served as Subeditor from December 2015 to May 2017.

James W. Dyke has a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Old Dominion University as well as a Master's degree in Journalism from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication in Bhopal, India. James also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from St. Aloysius' College Jabalpur.
