Erik S. Wasberg

Erik S. Wasberg is an experienced professional in economic analysis and journalism, currently serving as an Advisor in the Markets Department at Norges Bank since December 2020, having previously held roles as an Analyst and Student Intern within the same department. Prior experience includes writing for Norway's largest personal finance magazine, Dine Penger, and covering markets and macroeconomics as a Journalist at E24.no. Erik also completed mandatory military service in the Norwegian Armed Forces as a Radio Operator, led a project with Oslo kommune focusing on youth debate, and contributed as a Co-Editor and Columnist for Aftenposten. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Economic Theory and Econometrics from the University of Oslo and participation in the FFN Renteanalytikerkurset through Finance Society Norway.
