Plamen Nenov

Plamen Nenov is a Principal Research Economist at Norges Bank since August 2022 and previously held the position of Senior Research Economist. Prior to this role, Plamen Nenov served as an Associate Professor of Economics and an Assistant Professor of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School from August 2012 to August 2022. Earlier experience includes an internship at NERA Economic Consulting within the Environmental group in June 2006. Plamen Nenov earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2012, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics (honors) and Mathematics from Amherst College from 2003 to 2007, and was a Visiting undergraduate student in Economics and Statistics at Harvard University during the 2005-2006 academic year.
