Project Manager Innovative Improvements at Norgips

Lars Eknes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Lars started their career at Kongsberg Terotech as a Service Engineer in 1996 and went on to hold various roles such as Preventive Maintenance Manager, Service Manager, Technical Manager Maintenance, and Service Manager Nordic. Lars also worked as an OEE advisor, focusing on Overall Equipment Effectiveness measurements and improvements. In 2006, Lars joined Trelleborg Offshore, where they held roles including Technical Manager Production, Production Manager Coating, Manufacturing Excellence Engineer, and Maintenance Manager. During their time at Trelleborg Offshore, Lars was responsible for maintenance and process engineering, achieving significant improvements in preventive maintenance and maintenance costs. In 2012, Lars joined Norgips Norge AS as a Production Support Manager and later transitioned to the role of Project Manager Innovative Improvements in 2019.

Lars Eknes has a strong educational background in the field of Engineering. Lars attended Hokksund Gymnas from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a High School degree with a focus on Science. Following that, Lars pursued higher education at the University of South-Eastern Norway from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lars has also obtained a certification called "NITO Intro 2 nettkurs" from Crossknowledge in February 2021.
