Peter Zimmerman

Zimmerman spent nearly 23 years in the hospitality industry in Minot, North Dakota, as a part owner and operator of the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels in Minot. He has spent the last four years in his current position as the associate director of business operations in the Facilities Management Department at North Dakota State University. Zimmerman’s past board service includes being the board chair of the Minot Convention and Visitors Board, the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce, where he also served as the board chair, Noridian Mutual Insurance Company, where he served as the chair of the Human Resources & Compensation Committee, the Viking Fund Mutual Board of Directors, the ND State Hospitality Board of Directors, the Trinity Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and as the chair of Task Force 21, a Minot Air Force Base/City of Minot liaison committee.
