Pete Zografakis

Pete Zografakis has extensive work experience in the legal field. Pete is currently the VP, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Norit Activated Carbon since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Legal Consultant at PZ Law LLC from July 2020 to May 2022. Pete also served as the EVP, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at PeroxyChem from February 2015 to June 2020, where they managed all legal affairs and had a focus on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and regulatory matters. Before PeroxyChem, Pete was the Lead Procurement Counsel at FMC Corporation from January 2013 to January 2015, and they owned their own Law Practice from January 2012 to January 2013. Pete also has experience as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Starcite Inc from March 2008 to January 2012, where they managed all legal affairs and provided counsel on contractual, corporate, and intellectual property matters. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and General Counsel at Health Benefits Direct Corporation from April 2006 to February 2008, where they handled legal affairs and provided guidance on regulatory compliance and corporate transactions. Pete started their career as an Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from June 2002 to April 2006, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and corporate governance. Pete began their professional journey as an Accountant at SEI Investments Company from May 1997 to February 2000.

Pete Zografakis attended Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law, where they obtained a J.D. degree in Law. Pete also pursued a joint degree at the Fox School of Business at Temple University, earning an M.B.A. degree. Prior to that, Pete completed their undergraduate studies at Penn State University, earning a B.S. degree in Accounting.
