Nina Dirix

Nina Dirix has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nina is currently working as a Product Developer at Norrøna Sport AS since October 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2021, they worked at Helly Hansen in multiple roles, including Product Specialist for Professional Services and Technical Product Development for Sailing & Ski. At Helly Hansen, they were responsible for designing and developing professional-grade gear for various target groups and managing product timelines.

Before joining Helly Hansen, Nina worked part-time as a Ski and Snowboard Instructor at skikurs.no / Tryvann Skiskole / Bærum Skiklubb Skiskole from 2013 to 2020. Nina also has experience as a Consulting Manager at Sopra Steria from 2011 to 2016, where they managed and advised on digital channels and collaboration projects.

Prior to that, they worked as a Business Consultant at Tieto from 2007 to 2011. Nina's earlier experiences include roles as a Senior Advisor at Nordic Innovation Centre from 2004 to 2007, a SW Verification Team Leader at Philips Medical Systems from 2001 to 2003, a Dissertation Worker and Trainee at Marconi Medical Systems Finland from 2000 to 2001, and a Summer Trainee at Siemens Elektromedicin in 2000.

Additionally, they worked as a Study Advisor and Exchange Program Coordinator at Aalto University School of Science and Technology from 1997 to 2001 while pursuing their studies. Overall, Nina Dirix has a strong background in product development, consulting, and project management across various industries.

Nina Dirix has a diverse educational background. Nina completed their Master of Science (Tech.) degree in Electrical and Communications Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, between the years 1995 and 2001. Additionally, they studied production systems at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan in Stockholm, Sweden, from 1999 to 2000.

In 2013 and 2014, Nina obtained a Diploma in Sewing and Design, specializing in Apparel and Textiles, from Folkeuniversitetet Øst.

In addition to their academic achievements, Nina Dirix holds several certifications. Nina became a Certified Snowboard Instructor through the NSBF (Norwegian Snowboarding Federation) in February 2014. Prior to that, in January 2013, they obtained their certification as a Certified Ski Instructor, Alpine 1, from Den Norske Skiskole.

Nina also holds a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in August 2011, and an IPMA-C certification from the International Project Management Association, obtained in December 2008.
