Sylvia van der Geer

Sylvia van der Geer is an experienced education professional currently serving as Coördinator Leren & Ontwikkelen at Norschoten since June 2023. Prior to this role, Sylvia held the position of Projectconsultant at Fringe Company from October 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included the implementation of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS) in vocational and higher education. From September 2007 to September 2022, Sylvia was an Onderwijskundige and Manager Kwaliteit en Ontwikkeling at IVIO-Wereldschool, which provides Dutch distance education for children living abroad. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Leerkracht and Intern Begeleider in primary education with Almeerse Scholengroep from February 1997 to September 2007 and as a Bloembindster at Geilvoet's Tuincentrum from 1989 to 1996. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Onderwijskunde from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Basisonderwijs from Pabo Thomas Moore.
