Armin Auth

Armin Auth has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Armin started their career as the Manager of Logistics MIS at Messer Griesheim GmbH in 1990 and held this position until 2001. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as the IT Director of Corporate Systems at Schmalbach-Lubeca AG. Armin then moved on to Amcor Flexibles, where they served as the IT Director of Systems & Applications from 2003 to 2004, and later as the IT Country Manager for Germany/Switzerland from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2007, Auth worked at Hydro Aluminium Deutschland GmbH as the IS/IT Director for Rolled Products.

Armin then joined Norsk Hydro as the Head of Global Infrastructure Operations Services from 2007 to 2009, followed by a role as the Acting Head and later the Head of IS Infrastructure Services from 2009 to 2012. Auth then became the Principal Lead Digital Projects from 2019 to 2021 at Norsk Hydro. Armin further progressed as the Principal Enterprise Architect from 2022 to 2023 and also served as the Head of Enterprise Architecture during the same tenure. In 2023, Auth joined Norsk Hydro ASA and took on the role of Co-Lead for the Digital Strategy Project Phase II. Finally, Auth is currently the Head of I&T Strategic Programs at Norsk Hydro since 2024.

Armin Auth's education history includes obtaining a BA in Finance & Business Administration from Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their Industriekaufmann (IHK) degree at Bethmannschule, Frankfurt from 1988 to 1990. Armin also completed their Abitur at Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium Maintal from 1983 to 1986 and received their Realschulabschluss from Erich-Kästner Schule, Maintal-Bischofsheim, Germany from 1977 to 1983. Additionally, Armin Auth has obtained certifications in PowerPoint: Designing Better Slides and How to Stop Wasting Time in Meetings from LinkedIn in 2023 and 2022 respectively. Armin also holds a verified certificate for Agile Leadership Principles and Practices from edX in 2022.
