Kathrine Fog

Kathrine Fog has extensive work experience in various roles related to energy strategy and policy. Kathrine currently holds the position of SVP Energy Strategy & Policy at Norsk Hydro since December 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at Hydro Energy. Kathrine also served as a Member of the Board on ENERGIx, a renewable energy program by the Norwegian Research Council, from April 2012 to September 2021.

In their earlier years, Kathrine Fog worked at Norsk Hydro ASA, where they held the positions of SVP Corporate Strategy & Analysis from January 2015 to December 2019 and VP Corporate Strategy & Analysis from March 2013 to September 2015. Kathrine was responsible for coordinating the corporate strategy processes, conducting market analysis, and developing policy and strategy for the energy business area.

Before joining Norsk Hydro ASA, Kathrine Fog worked at Norsk Hydro from 2001 to 2013, where they held various roles including Vice President Energy Analysis and Policy, Vice President/Head of Department for Marketing, and Head of Department for Raw Material Management in Norsk Hydro Petrochemicals.

Additionally, they served as a Board Member at Energi Norge from May 2008 to May 2012 and as a Member of Energiutvalget from April 2011 to March 2012. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Trainee at Barclays Bank PLC in New York from 1987 to 1988.

Throughout their career, Kathrine Fog has demonstrated expertise in energy strategy, policy development, market analysis, and industry research.

Kathrine Fog obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School, graduating between 1983 and 1987.
