Miriam Uria has extensive work experience in the aluminum industry, with roles in various companies. Miriam currently holds the position of Vice President of the Board of Directors at Asociación Española del Aluminio y Tratamientos de Superficie since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Norsk Hydro as Vice President of Procurement for Hydro Extrusions starting in February 2020. Before that, they served as the Supply Chain & Operations Director for South Europe, Building Systems at Norsk Hydro from October 2017 to February 2020. Miriam Uria has a Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, which they obtained from 1994 to 2000. Miriam also completed a Master in Digital Business Management from Esden Business School in 2000-2001. In 2008-2009, Miriam Uria completed a Master in Logistics Management from Álava Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, they took the PDD; General Management program at IESE Business School and also joined the Future Leaders Team at World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Miriam Uria further pursued their education in 2018 with an Advanced Management Program from ESIC Business & Marketing School. Miriam also participated in the Transformational Leadership Journey - Top Executive Leadership Program at Evidenta Gruppen - Norsk Hydro. Additionally, in 2017, they completed the Diversity Mentoring Program at Sapa.
