Olav Ekkje

Olav Ekkje is an experienced professional in energy production and technical installations, currently serving as Head of Energy Production Projects at Norsk Hydro since August 2020. Ekkje has held various leadership roles at Sweco from June 2009 to July 2020, including Department Leader for Technical Installations, overseeing financial responsibilities for a team of 33, and Group Leader for HVAC systems with direct management of 23 personnel. Ekkje has a solid background in engineering, specializing in HVAC design, energy modeling, and sustainable practices. Ekkje has also contributed to education as a lecturer on heating systems and sustainable energy at Stavanger Offshore Technical College. Ekkje holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from NTNU, graduated in 2009.
