Patricia Schmidt

Patricia Schmidt is an accomplished finance and communications professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and thought leadership. Currently serving as CFO PMO at Norsk Hydro since April 2022, Patricia previously held significant roles at ABB from November 2016 to April 2022, where responsibilities included strategic planning, M&A, financial communications, and thought leadership. Prior to ABB, Patricia was the Global Account Director for public relations and strategic positioning at Serviceplan Suisse AG from August 2013 to November 2016, and served as European Account Director for public relations at Quade & Zurfluh from May 2011 to August 2013. Patricia holds an M.A., summa cum laude, in Communications and Political Science from the University of Zurich and is currently pursuing a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, with prior executive education in M&As and Corporate Strategy from INSEAD.
