Vanessa Raymond

Vanessa Raymond has a diverse work experience with a focus on finance and business control. Vanessa started their career as a Trainee at Albras Aluminium Brasileiro SA in 2011. Vanessa then joined Norsk Hydro in 2012 as a Financial Analyst, where they were responsible for cost controlling, business planning coordination, and project cost follow-up in the Bauxite & Alumina business area.

Vanessa progressed in their career at Norsk Hydro, taking on roles such as Business Controller in the Corporate Information Systems department, where they were in charge of OPEX and CAPEX figures and monthly financial reporting. Vanessa then became a Business Area Financial Controller, responsible for financial reporting and consolidation of units in the Extruded Solutions business area, as well as coordination of business planning figures and forecasting.

In their most recent role at Norsk Hydro, Vanessa served as the Senior Project Specialist, leading the PMO of the Digital Finance project for the Bauxite & Alumina business area. Vanessa'smain focus was on improving financial reporting and processes through data harmonization and automated tools.

Vanessa's extensive finance and business control experience culminated in their current role as the Head of Strategic Finance at Norsk Hydro, a position they assumed in June 2021.

Vanessa Raymond pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from The University of Salford between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidade Federal do Pará from 2006 to 2011.
