Harald Solberg

Harald Solberg is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Norsk Industri since May 2024, Harald previously held the CEO position at the Norwegian Shipowners' Association from January 2018 to April 2024. Prior to that, Harald led the royal secretariat as Chief of The Royal Secretariat from June 2016 to December 2017 and served as Deputy CEO from September 2011 to May 2016 at the same association. Additional roles include managing director at Dagsavisen, vice managing director at Vårt Land, and political advisor in various capacities within the Norwegian government and Parliament between 1999 and 2005. Harald's educational background includes a degree from the University of Oslo, completed from 1995 to 1999, following studies at Re vgs/Tønsberg gymnas from 1992 to 1995.
