Chris Lindemann

Chris Lindemann is a researcher currently employed at Norsk institutt for vannforskning (NIVA) since June 2023. Previously, Chris has held research roles at the University of Bergen since September 2015 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Chris has also worked as a visiting researcher at both the University of South Florida and Scripps Institution of Oceanography in late 2022. In 2016, Chris was a visiting scholar at the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research in East China Normal University. Additional experiences include a position as a visiting PhD student at the Institute of Marine Research in Norway in late 2014, and research assistant roles at DTU Aqua and the University of Hamburg in 2011 and 2010, respectively. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Denmark and a Diplom in Hydrobiology and Fisheries Sciences from the University of Hamburg, along with being a visiting graduate student at Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2006-2007.
