Eskil Olaf Vestre

Eskil Olaf Vestre is an experienced journalist and consultant with a diverse background in media, localization, and education. Currently serving as Vaktsjef for P3.no at Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) since June 2020, Eskil has previously worked as a journalist and photographer for Ballade and as an event coordinator for The Pokémon Company International. With a strong foundation in translation and writing, Eskil has been a self-employed freelancer since 2010, specializing in Japanese, German, English, and Norwegian. Additional roles include marketing coordination at Teknisk Ukeblad Media, student recruitment at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and teaching Japanese at Oslo Handelsgymnasium. Eskil holds a Master's degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Oslo and has participated in intensive language programs in Japan.
