Marcos Antonio González Delgado has worked in various roles since 2003. Marcos Antonio began their career as a University Teacher at the Universidad Católica Nicaragua. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at Claro Nicaragua as a Procurement Manager. Marcos Antonio then moved to Soluciones en Conectividad as a Lead Project Manager from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they took on the role of Lead Project Manager at CEG Construcciones. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Civil Engineer and Contract Management/Procurement Manager at Construtora Queiroz Galvão. During this time, they also worked as a Lead Engineer, Budget Planner, and Construction Manager at Tumarin Hydroelectric Project - 253 MW. In 2014, they worked as a Consultant Freelance for Civil Construction. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Consultant Freelance for Soluciones Proyectos e Ingeniería. Finally, they were the Country Manager and Project Coordinator for Norsk Solar from 2018 to the present, where they are responsible for preparing terms of reference and procedures, monitoring service execution and contracts compliance, preparing reports for the Ministry of Energy and Mines, and supporting headquarters in preparation of documents for tenders, CAD, research of suppliers, and more.

Marcos Antonio González Delgado has a diverse educational background. Marcos Antonio obtained a Master degree in Proyectos from Universidad Centroamericana, Managua in the years 2003-2010. Marcos Antonio also completed a Postgrado in Educación Superior at AUPRICA in 2007. In 2003-2004, they completed a Postgrado in Gerencia de Proyectos at Universidad Centroamericana, Managua, and in 2002-2003 they completed a Postgrado in Formulación Proyectos at the same university. Marcos Antonio obtained their degree in Ingeniería Civil from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (NI) in 1995-2001. In 2016-2017 they completed a Programa de Desarrollo y Financiamiento de Proyectos de Energía Renovable at INCAE Business School and a Gestión de Proyectos at Inter-American Development Bank in 2016.
