Mate Urfi

Mate Urfi has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Mate currently works as a Project Manager at Norsk Solar since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Strategic Policy Advisor on Sustainability, Renewables & Environment at MEP Anna Donath from January 2020. Mate also held the position of Project Manager at Greensolar Equipment Manufacturing Ltd starting from June 2018. From July 2017 to June 2018, Mate Urfi worked as a Regional Project Coordinator at Solarpro Holding. Mate gained IT experience at Misco Business Services Ltd. as an IT Business Analyst from October 2016 to July 2017. Before that, they were self-employed as an Advisor on tourism & hospitality investments from November 2013 to 2017. Mate Urfi also worked as a Business Analyst - Client Relationship Representative at Morgan Stanley from April 2015 to September 2016. Their previous roles include Operations Manager at Partvilla Balatonboglár from January 2014 to September 2014 and being the owner of 2night Hostel from September 2007 to November 2013.

Mate Urfi attended ELTE from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Slavic Studies, with a focus on Bulgarian and Russian languages. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Budapest Business School from 2011 to 2015, specializing in hotel management and tour operation as an economist.
