Hilde Løken Larsen has over 20 years of experience in the metal process industry. Hilde Løken began their career in 1997 as a Senior Engineer and Group Manager at Elkem ASA. In this role, they were also a Project Engineer. In 2011, they joined Norsk Titanium as the VP of Material & Process Foundation. In this role, they were responsible for the qualification of Additive Manufacturing Process and Material Properties for Aerospace, Process Foundation, Design of Experiment, Structural Titanium parts approved for Commercial Aerospace, Material Properties, Static, Damage Tolerance, Fatigue, Part Development and Qualification. Her expertise in this field is supported by their Ph.D. in Material Physics/Metallurgy. Hilde Løken also led a team of metallurgy and material experts.

Hilde Løken Larsen obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Metallurgy from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1992 and 1996. Hilde Løken also earned a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from the same university between 1986 and 1991.
