Shane O'Neill

Shane O'Neill began their legal career in 2008 with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a Trainee Solicitor, followed by an Associate role. In 2012, they moved to Emirates as a Legal Adviser. In 2014, they joined Hasbro as a Legal Advisor. In 2015, they joined Virgin Media as a Legal Counsel, followed by a Senior Legal Counsel role. From 2016 to 2018, they worked for Fujitsu in the UK and Ireland as a Senior Legal Advisor. Since 2018, they have been Assistant General Counsel at Norsk Titanium, providing commercially-focussed, risk-based advice at all levels and locations of the group's activities. This includes advising on arrangements to secure funding from investors, assisting the contracts team with agreements with major aerospace customers, implementation and monitoring of internal policy and regulatory compliance issues, managing disputes and litigation matters, HR/employment matters, reviewing software and IT services arrangements, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts/documentation, management of the IP portfolio, managing external counsel across different jurisdictions, and advising on data protection matters.

Shane O'Neill has completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UCL, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Competition Law from King's College London, and an LPC from The University of Law.
