Akshay Dhawan

Akshay Dhawan has extensive work experience in various industries, including healthcare, consulting, and technology. Akshay currently holds the position of VP Data Science - RWD at Norstella since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director Corporate Development and Data Strategy at Norstella from 2021 to 2023. Before joining Norstella, Akshay worked at Truveta as the Director Of Business Development from 2020 to 2021. Akshay also held multiple roles at Clarify Health Solutions, including Director of Product Management from 2020 to 2021 and Director of Corporate Development & Data Strategy from 2019 to 2020. Akshay started their career at ClearView Healthcare Partners as a Senior Consultant from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant from 2014 to 2017, where they focused on general management, strategy, and commercialization challenges. Akshay also has internship experiences at Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University in 2013, Boston Scientific in 2013, Cornell University in 2012, and GE Healthcare in 2012. Akshay holds a Masters of Engineering Fellow Research scholarship from Cornell University, where they developed algorithms for signal compression and classification. Akshay Dhawan's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at Cornell University. Akshay pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering/Biomedical Engineering, which they completed with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2012.

Following their undergraduate studies, Akshay continued their education at Cornell University for their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. This program lasted from 2012 to 2013, providing him with further specialization in their field.
