Andrew Rodriquez

Andrew Rodriguez has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Beginning in 1997, they worked as a Trader Support Analyst at Enron Capital and Trade, followed by a role as a Level III Developer at Southwest Power Pool from 1999 to 2000. Andrew then joined Enron Corp as a Senior Business Analyst and later became a Senior Regulatory Affairs Analyst. In 2001, they founded Oxygen Consulting, where they served as Principal Consultant and Owner until 2003. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Sr. Consultant at PJM Interconnection. In 2007, they joined North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and held various roles including Manager of Business Practice Coordination, Director of Standards Development, Director of Reliability Risk Analysis and Control, Director of Business Process Improvement, and most recently, Director of Business Engagement. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors for the North American Energy Standards Board from 2011 to 2012. Since 2019, they have also been a Board Member and Assistant Region Executive at the Sports Car Club of America Atlanta Region Inc.

Andrew Rodriguez received their education at two different institutions. From 2001 to 2005, they attended the University of Phoenix, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB). Prior to that, from 1988 to 1993, they enrolled at the University of Houston, majoring in Business without specifying a degree name.

The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) is a not-for-profit international regulatory authority whose mission is to assure the reliability and security of the bulk power system in North America. NERC develops and enforces Reliability Standards; annually assesses seasonal and long‐term reliability; monitors the bulk power system through system awareness; and educates, trains, and certifies industry personnel. NERC’s area of responsibility spans the continental United States, Canada, and the northern portion of Baja California, Mexico. NERC is the electric reliability organization for North America, subject to oversight by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and governmental authorities in Canada. NERC’s jurisdiction includes users, owners, and operators of the bulk power system, which serves more than 334 million people.
