Tony Tatum

Tony Tatum is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Bulk Power System Awareness Analyst at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) since September 2021. Prior to this role, Tony held the position of NERC RC/TOP/BA at Southern Company from September 2014 until retirement in January 2022. Earlier experience includes working as a Field Engineer at GE Hitachi Nuclear from April 2012 to September 2014, specializing in boiling water reactor refueling outages, and serving as a Submarine Nuclear Plant Operator in the US Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program from October 1984 to September 1993, focusing on PWR plant operations and maintenance. Tony Tatum holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Piedmont University and an Associate of Science degree in Engineering Technology from Gainesville State College.
