Stephen Sothmann

Stephen Sothmann is the President of the U.S. Hide, Skin and Leather Association (USHSLA), an affiliate of NAMI. He has served in this role since 2014.

Prior to joining NAMI, Sothmann served as a member of the legislative staff of Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana, covering a broad range of economic issues including international trade and agriculture. A native of Indiana, he received a B.A. from Purdue University, a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a M.B.A. from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
