Dana Varble, DVM, CAE has a diverse background in veterinary leadership and management roles. In 2015, they became the Chief Veterinary Officer at the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), where they continue to serve. Additionally, from 2015 to 2018, they held the position of Executive Director at the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians.

Dana Varble, DVM, CAE completed their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their educational background, Dana Varble has also obtained a Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership in February 2021.
