Daniel Read

Daniel Read currently serves as the Chief Growth & Integration Officer at the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) since 2023. Previously, Daniel held the position of Senior Vice President for Special Events at CloserStill Media from 2019 to 2022 and served as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Reed Exhibitions in 2017. Before that, Daniel was the Business Development Director and Industry Director for ITE Group plc from 2014 to 2016, responsible for overseeing over 240 trade events annually across various sectors. Daniel's career in the events industry began at UBM plc, where contributions included roles as Portfolio Director, Sales/Brand Director, and Head of Sales from 2003 to 2014. Earlier experience includes positions at Dennis Publishing from 2000 to 2003. Daniel holds a BA in Communications & Journalism from the University of East London.
