Dieter Haager has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dieter began their career as an Audit Associate at Arthur Andersen & Co. in July 2000, where they worked until October 2001. Dieter then joined Carlson as a Director of Operations from October 2001 to July 2005. After this, they worked as a District Coordinator at H&R Block Tax and Business Services in 2005.
In 2006, Haager joined the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, initially serving as a Hospital Operations Manager from August 2006 to March 2009, before being promoted to the role of Hospital Chief Financial Officer from March 2009 to June 2014.
Since June 2014, Haager has been associated with the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC). Dieter started as a Controller from June 2014 to February 2017 and then progressed to the role of Vice President of Finance from February 2017 to April 2019. From April 2019 to July 2022, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration. Currently, Haager holds the role of Chief Administrative Officer at NAVC, starting in July 2022.
Dieter Haager obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University, attending from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, studying there from 2007 to 2008.
