Taylor Matson

Community Health Promoter at North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit

Taylor Matson has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Student at the North East Community Care Access Centre. From 2011 to 2012, they held the position of Project Department Summer Student at Ontario Power Generation. Starting in 2013, Taylor Matson joined Martel and Mitchell Physiotherapy, initially as a Physiotherapy Assistant and later as an Assistant Manager until January 2020. In 2016, they began working at Nipissing University, serving as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and Examination Proctor until 2018. From January to August 2020, Taylor Matson was a Public Education and Health Promotion Facilitator at the Alzheimer Society Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay & Districts. Currently, they are employed as a Community Health Promoter at the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit.

Taylor Matson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University, from 2009 to 2013. Afterwards, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Science in Kinesiology degree at Nipissing University, from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Taylor Matson obtained a certification in Standard First Aid with CPR Level C and AED in June 2016.
