Mark A. Holmes

Mark A. Holmes has extensive experience in the banking industry, holding various leadership roles over the years. Mark A. started their career at Albemarle Savings and Loan Association in 1979 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Later, they worked at different banks, including BB&T, Morris Plan Bank, Gateway Bank & Trust Co., Select Bank & Trust, and Cornerstone Bank, Wilson, NC, where they served as President and CEO. Most recently, they have been working as Executive Advisor at Lumbee Guaranty Bank and Chief Financial Officer at North Carolina Bankers Association.

Mark A. Holmes earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from College of The Albemarle in 1977. Mark A. then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from East Carolina University in 1979.
