Deante Tyler's work experience begins with their current role as the Associate Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at the North Carolina Community College System. Prior to this, they held multiple positions with the State of North Carolina, including Director of the NC Innovation Center and Technology Officer. Deante also served as a Business Development Consultant at Acon Biotechnology, analyzing the global industry and reporting findings to management. Additionally, they worked as an Innovation Consultant at Air Products and held various roles at North Carolina State University, including Laboratory Instructor and Teaching Assistant. Deante also worked as a Business Development Consultant at Mauna Kea Technologies, focusing on developing a new business model and conducting industry research.
Deante Tyler attended North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry. Deante then pursued further education in Global Innovation Management, completing a Master's degree at both North Carolina State University and Institut d'Administration des Entreprises from 2013 to 2014.
