Elijah King

Elijah King serves as the 3rd Vice Chair of the North Carolina Democratic Party, where initiatives to strengthen partnerships with advocacy organizations and enhance staff capacity have been led. Previous roles include 1st Vice Chair for NC-04, contributing to strategic planning and fundraising efforts, and serving on various executive committees. As Vice Chair of the Board for the North Carolina AIDS Action Network, organizational restructuring and fundraising leadership during financial uncertainty have been provided. Elijah also founded the Durham Neighbors Free Lunch Initiative, securing substantial funding and delivering over 60,000 meals during the pandemic. Additional experiences encompass work with Rising Tide Interactive in client strategy, co-founding the Durham Youth Environmental Justice Initiative, and serving as a political fellow and communications intern for various political campaigns and organizations. Elijah is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
