Kenyatta Jeffcoat

Kenyatta Jeffcoat has a robust background in education and political engagement, serving as a Reading Intervention Teacher at Spartanburg School District #6 since May 2021. In addition, Kenyatta has been active with the North Carolina Democratic Party as a Field Coordinator, focusing on voter turnout and volunteer management in several counties. As Membership Chair for the Rho Tau Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and Executive Director of the Campus Activities Board at the University of South Carolina Upstate, leadership and organization skills are evident through successful event planning and member oversight. Kenyatta also has experience as an Afterschool Teacher at Anderson Mill Elementary School and previously worked as a Field Organizer for Battle Ground Canvassing, where significant numbers of canvassers were recruited and trained. Kenyatta holds a Mass Communications degree with a concentration in Health Communication from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
