Christian Vose

Christian Vose has work experience with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, where they currently hold the position of Information Support Services Director starting in October 2020. Prior to this, they worked for the North Carolina Forest Service, where they served as the Geospatial Services Branch Head from November 2017 to October 2020, and as a GIS Analyst from May 2015 to November 2017.

Christian Vose completed a Master's degree in Geospatial Information Science and Technology from North Carolina State University, from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation Biology from the same university, from 2010 to 2013. Before attending North Carolina State University, Christian studied Secondary Education and Teaching - Physics at Western Carolina University from 2008 to 2010, but did not obtain a degree in that field. Additionally, Christian has obtained several certifications, including Advanced Programming ArcGIS Server with JavaScript, Intermediate Programming ArcGIS Server with JavaScript, Introduction to Programming ArcGIS Server with JavaScript from GeoSpatial Training Services in December 2016. Christian also obtained certifications such as Introduction to Incident Command System ICS-100, National Incident Management System (NIMS) An Introduction IS-00700.a, and National Response Framework, An Introduction IS-00800.b from FEMA in November 2016.
