Naomi Riley

Naomi Riley is an experienced professional in community development and downtown services. Currently serving as the NC Main Street Conference Coordinator and Downtown Services Coordinator for the North Carolina Department of Commerce since February 2017, Riley previously held the position of Executive Director for the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association from April 2010 to January 2017, where notable achievements included expanding the volunteer base from 25 to 270 and supporting various community initiatives. Additionally, Riley served as Interim Executive Director for the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce for six months, managing daily operations for a chamber with 400 members. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education degree from East Carolina University, earned between August 1983 and December 1987, along with a high school diploma from Fuquay-Varina High School.
