Jonathan Gerew

Jonathan Gerew has over 13 years of experience at the North Carolina Department of Revenue, currently serving as Tax Auditor III (Audit Manager) since August 2010, after being promoted from Field Auditor II. Responsibilities include researching complex tax issues, training new supervisors and auditors, hiring personnel, and enhancing processes within the Non-Filer Group. Jonathan has a strong background in managing audits across various tax schedules, developing performance reports, and communicating effectively with stakeholders about tax laws and Department policies. Prior to the Department of Revenue, Jonathan was a Store Manager at Lucor Inc and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from East Carolina University.
