Liane Barber

Liane Barber has a strong background in finance and accounting spanning over 20 years. Liane currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at North Carolina FC Youth since March 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. Prior to this, Liane served as the Director of Finance at the same company since June 2014.

Before joining North Carolina FC Youth, Liane worked as the Controller at Mount St. Joseph University from March 2010 to February 2014. In this role, they had ultimate responsibility for the accounting function of the college, including managing the general ledger, financial statement reporting, and tax compliance.

From July 2005 to February 2010, Liane served as the Controller at The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, one of the top community foundations in the nation. In this position, they managed the accounting function, focusing on the investment portfolio and thousands of individual donor advised funds.

Liane began their career at Grant Thornton, LLP in September 2002, where they worked as a Senior Auditor until July 2005.

Liane Barber attended Miami University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration.
