Peter J. Sciandra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Peter J. began their career as an Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at TM Capital Corp., where they specialized in various transactions such as hostile takeover defense, divestitures, and private debt/equity offerings. Peter then moved on to Merrill Lynch, where they served as Vice President, focusing on providing M&A advisory services for mid-sized deals. Later, they joined The Doan Group as Chief Operating Officer, successfully increasing sales by 109% and profit by 243% while opening 28 new office locations. Peter then joined Eastman Kodak Company as Managing Director & Co-Head of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, leading a team responsible for structuring and negotiating worldwide merger and acquisition transactions. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer for the North Carolina Football Club, overseeing various aspects such as corporate sponsorship, ticket sales, and finance.

North Carolina Football Club is comprised of two professional soccer teams: North Carolina FC and North Carolina Courage. Our star symbolizes the unity between both teams and the long-term vision for soccer in North Carolina. On December 6, 2016, team owner Steve Malik ushered in The New State of Soccer by announcing North Carolina Football Club and rebanding our men's team (formerly Carolina RailHawks) to North Carolina FC. History was made yet again on January 9, 2017 when North Carolina Football Club announced it had acquired the rights to National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) 2016 Champion Western New York Flash and renamed the team North Carolina Courage. WHO WE ARE: North Carolina FC, our men's professional team, plays in the United Soccer League (USL). North Carolina Courage, our women's professional team, plays in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). All home games are held at WakeMed Soccer Park. The team is owned by local entrepreneur Steve Malik.
