Jessica Lewis

Jessica Lewis currently serves as General Counsel for the North Carolina Healthcare Association, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jessica was Associate General Counsel at UNC Health from October 2012 to June 2023 and practiced as an attorney at Poyner Spruill LLP from February 2008 to September 2012, representing a diverse range of health care providers in regulatory compliance, litigation, and corporate matters. Additional legal experience includes positions at Young Moore & Henderson PA, Patterson, Dilthey, Clay & Bryson, LLP, and a research assistant role at the North Carolina General Assembly. Jessica began their career as a Nurse Corps Officer in the United States Army. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a BS in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
