Jose Chavarria

Jose Chavarria is an experienced professional in the insurance and underwriting sectors. Currently serving as an Underwriting Assistant at the North Carolina Joint Underwriting Association and North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association since February 2022, Jose previously worked as an MD Claims Adjuster at National General Insurance from January 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that role, Jose gained valuable experience as an Actuarial Intern at Blue Cross NC from May 2020 to January 2021. Jose Chavarria holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Appalachian State University, graduating in 2021.
