Timothy Young

Timothy Young is a communications specialist currently managing internal and external strategies for the North Carolina Justice Center's Second Chance Project since November 2021. Previous experience includes working as a multimedia journalist for WDVM-TV, where news content was covered under tight deadlines, and as a news reporter for Free Talk 930 WFMD, focusing on daily news coverage and community events. Young has held various leadership roles, including resident director at Salisbury University, overseeing a residence hall and student staff. A graduate of Salisbury University with a master’s degree in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution and a bachelor's degree in Communication with a journalism focus, Young's extensive background in media, reporting, and community engagement has equipped them with strong communication and organizational skills.
