Jared Ledesma

Jared Ledesma is a seasoned art professional currently serving as the Curator of 20th-Century Art and Contemporary Art at the North Carolina Museum of Art since August 2022. Prior to this role, Ledesma held the position of Senior Curator at the Akron Art Museum from July 2021 to July 2022 and worked as an Associate Curator at the Des Moines Art Center from April 2017 to June 2021. Ledesma's experience includes serving as an Assistant Curator at the Des Moines Art Center and a Curatorial Assistant in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from July 2012 to March 2017. Earlier positions include Database Manager at the Richmond Art Center and various roles at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Visual Aid. Ledesma holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Art History from San Francisco State University and has academic roots from Ohlone College.
