Forrest Fallanca

Assistant Litigation Counsel at North Carolina School Boards Association

Forrest Fallanca has worked in a variety of legal roles since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Legal Extern for Duke Energy Corporation and a Researcher for the North Carolina Bar Association/Poyner & Spruill, LLP. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Melissa Essary at Campbell Law School and a Legal Intern for the NC Department of Justice. In 2015, they worked as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable J. Douglas McCullough at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as an Assistant Attorney General and Associate Attorney for the NC Department of Justice. Since 2022, they have been the Assistant Litigation Counsel for the North Carolina School Boards Association.

Forrest Fallanca obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2015. Forrest had previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of South Carolina in 2011, where they majored in International/Global Studies and minored in Philosophy.
