Casey High has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as Portfolio Manager for Real Estate at the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer since November 2015, overseeing a $9 billion Public and Private Real Estate portfolio. Previously, Casey held roles as Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst in Global Public Equities, where a successful internal trading platform was launched, achieving over $15 billion in assets under management. Prior to this, experience includes a position as Senior Associate at CAPTRUST, focusing on asset allocation and investment strategies for Defined Benefit Pension Plan clients, and an early career as an Investment Analyst at the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, supporting the management of a $90 billion pension plan. Education was completed at North Carolina State University with a BS in Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services.
