Ewa Grigar

Ewa Grigar, Ph.D., has a robust academic and professional background in sociology and consumer research. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer of Sociology at North Carolina State University and UPCES/ECES (Charles University) since 2017, Ewa specializes in the Sociology of Food. Ewa holds a position as Senior Associate in Consumer Practice at Kline & Company since September 2017, bringing extensive experience from earlier roles such as Project Lead/Manager at Kline & Company and Program Associate at the American Council of Learned Societies. The academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sociology of Culture and an MA in Sociology from The New School for Social Research, complemented by degrees in Art History and Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ewa's research has focused on food and healthcare, integrating qualitative methodologies in diverse educational and professional settings.
