Jim Cobb

Jim Cobb is an accomplished business leader and educator with extensive experience in executive management and strategic initiatives. As the Founder and CEO of The Bloodhound Group since September 2017, Cobb has leveraged expertise gained from previous roles, including President and CEO of Howard/Merrell from June 2006 to September 2017, and Market Manager at Exxon from September 1979 to March 1981. In addition to entrepreneurial ventures, Cobb serves as an Adjunct Professor and Mentor at North Carolina State University since August 2019 and was a Trustee at Barton College from July 2012 to October 2020, where Cobb chaired the Strategic Enrollment and Academic Excellence Committee. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Business Administration from Wake Forest University School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Barton College.
